Funeral Planning
Planning a Funeral at OLPH
Losing a loved one is one of life’s most difficult experiences. At OLPH, we are here to support you with care and guidance as you plan a funeral liturgy to honor your loved one's life and faith. This page provides information to help you prepare for a funeral or memorial Mass, whether planning in advance or following the loss of a loved one.
Planning a Funeral for a Loved One
If you are planning a funeral for a loved one, please contact the OLPH Office. You will meet with Father Kyle and the Coordinator of Music to finalize plans, but you can review the following documents as a first step.
Pre-Planning Your Own Funeral
Pre-planning your own funeral lets you control your final wishes, spares your family from stressful guesswork during their grief, and prevents family arguments. We encourage you to review the documents linked above to make a general plan for your final arrangements. After meeting with Father Kyle and the Coordinator of Music to review plans, we will save your information in our files, and we encourage you to keep a copy with your important documents to ensure that your wishes are known.
