Eucharistic Holy Hour for Evangelization

Pray for an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Salem, VA!

Monday, August 10th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Please join with us as we pray as a parish for an outpouring of God's grace in Salem and the Roanoke Valley.  We will pray that many more people in our area may come to know Jesus and His Church during a special Eucharistic Holy Hour for Evangelization.  The Holy Hour will include Evening Prayer, a Rosary, and a little music. It is a great opportunity for our parish to really ask Jesus to help us live out the Great Commission from Matthew 28.

The Gospel of Matthew ends with Jesus telling His disciples that "All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations" (Mt 28:18-19). We are His disciples here and now, and so this Great Commission is part of our mission too. One way we want to respond to that here at OLPH is by praying that Jesus, who has "all power," will make more disciples here in our town this year.
