Join parishioners throughout the Diocese of Richmond to pray for our nation.

In honor of the 250th anniversary of our Nation, Bishop Knestout will entrust our country to the maternal care of Our Lady, Patroness of the Americas.


Registration Details

  • The pilgrimage is free to attend.
  • You have the option of taking a bus from OLN for $10.
  • Shuttle buses between the National Shrine, Franciscan Monastery, and John Paul II National Shrine are free.
  • Open to all, including families with children. Anyone 17 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult.  
  • Registration (use the button) is requested for all participants, including children, clergy, and seminarians.
  • Meals are not provided with registration unless attending the Young Adult Gathering at the John Paul II National Shrine.

 

Pilgrimage Schedule

The main events of the pilgrimage will take place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, including the Opening Prayer, Confession, Rosary, and Mass with Bishop Knestout. Throughout the day pilgrims are also encouraged to visit local religious sites on our free shuttle, experience children’s activities at the Basilica, or join other young adults for lunch and a presentation at the John Paul II National shrine.
